I've been in the U.S. more than 20 years. Was here as a F-1 student, then got my H-1B, and my employer back then started my EB3 green card. Then the company got sold and it all fell apart. I switched jobs and at the new place two of their companies filed for me, and that's when it became a nightmare. USCIS came back saying I misrepresented some facts, notice of intent to deny on one and notice of intent to revoke on the other, both at the same time. So many years building my life here and it was about to be gone just like that.
Talked to several lawyers, All of them said no. Too complicated, too risky, one guy basically told me to just accept it and find another option. Mamdani was the only one who said ok, we'll take it. And they did the work, years of appeals and filings and I think three or four mandamus in federal court to make USCIS move. 3-4 years total. Never gave up even when I did.
I got my green card finally. Still doesn't feel real honestly. The guy gave me my whole life back. If everyone has told you your case is hopeless, go see Azhar Mamdani. He was the only one who didn't turn me away and I'll never forget it.
